Our Story

Founded in 2014, Equalizer saw a noticeable gap in the market for sound engineering and PA hire for small events and folk festivals on the Island. Initially known as Equalizer Audio, we quickly became the preferred choice for folk events across the Island, earning a reputation for excellence that endures today.

By 2020, our services had significantly expanded, leading us to rebrand as Equalizer Productions. We evolved into a comprehensive events production company, offering sound, lighting, staging, and logistics to the event industry.

In celebration of our 10-year anniversary in 2024, we rebranded once more to simply Equalizer, reflecting our continued growth and the broadening of our services. Today, we specialize in production and management for the events industry, delivering a full spectrum of services from event planning and management to sound, lighting, staging, and more.

Ollie Smith

Ollie brings a wealth of experience from the event industry, having previously worked with various PA Hire companies and in event medical and safety roles. His diverse skill set and extensive knowledge ensure that your event is executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Kali Farmer

Joining Equalizer in 2024, Kali has a robust background in management and planning. She has successfully organized and executed events of all sizes, from intimate weddings to large-scale festivals. Kali was instrumental in our 10-year anniversary rebranding and designed our new look, reflecting our dynamic growth and innovative spirit.
